excellent tradition christmas show
The high tech 3D animation drew younger people in with Santa flying through the air and skies of NYC. Memories of more traditional Christmas were provided by the Rockettes with their high kicking dance routines for those older. Long tested dance routines like the Tin Soldiers and the raggedy ann dolls were enjoyable every time you watch it, as the show doesn't change that much on the one hand but that is its plus as well. The Story of Christmas with the Nativity holds true to why we celebrate Christmas in the first place and exposes all to reflect on it vs. the gift shopping that is now part of the season as well. A great show to start the season off and to encourage people to enjoy the real meaning of Christmas, could be a family tradition for some and a periodic revisit for others. Bravo!
